Like the depths of space, Alaskan winters have a deep cold and darkness that must be experienced to be understood. So why do we eat more ice cream per capita during the winter than any other state in the nation? Who knows. But I do know that when it's to cold to go outside and play, I love playing on my computer. So, for all you other computer junkies out there, I bring you the Arctic TradeWars TWGS server. I originally licensed TW2002 years ago for my Wildcat! BBS system, and decided to take another look recently when the topic of door games was brought up. TWGS is a great way to bring some good old door gaming to the Internet. My intentions are currently to bang a new game every month, and let each game run for a full year. So eventually I will have 12 games running on the system. I'm open to suggestions if you'd like to have the games modded, or setup in a particular way. I currently have the server configured for 32 nodes, if demand dictates I can increase this as high as 100 nodes. Please create an account on the forums and let me know about any issues or questions you may have. RULES: Because I am running multiple games, I have not limited IP addresses to a single connection. But if I find that you are logging into the same game with multiple accounts, your IP address will be banned. No blockading of sector 1 or Stardock. Other than that... have fun!
